A new 7-story, 91-unit apartment building is coming to the corner of Irving Park Road and Sheridan Road in Chicago's Buena Park neighborhood.

The building will feature 91 apartments, two ground-floor retail spaces, indoor parking and bicycle storage, a second-floor outdoor deck, fitness center and shared workspace, plus a seventh-floor resident lounge and rooftop terrace.

Located just steps from the Sheridan Red Line station, the building will offer convenient access to downtown Chicago and neighborhoods throughout the city.

What’s going on?

Pre-demolition work is underway, with demolition of the existing building expected to begin early in September 2026. Following demolition, excavation and foundation work will begin, followed by construction of the new building.

What’s next?

Construction is expected to continue through early 2028.

Construction will generally occur during permitted construction hours. Saturday work may also occur as the project progresses. There will be no regularly scheduled construction on major holidays.
